Excerpt from the Book: The Imp slowly uncurled and stood up. He was no longer
grinning from ear to ear. 'What you have is the one spell book that controls all
Imps lore and ancient Pexie magic.'

'Is it dangerous to use?' asked Rugen.

'In the wrong hands, yes,' Dumweavel appealed with open arms. 'But there has never
been an opportunity for it to fall into the wrong hands. My Lore Master always has
it locked away in a secret place.'

'Then it must have been intended to fall into my hands, so I must be the right
person?' said Rugen.

The Imp wrung his hands and looked around, uncertain of his safety. 'I am not so
sure about that,' he said suddenly wide-eyed with fear. 'It's never been in a
stranger's hand.'

'Then you must help me to read it,' said Rugen. 'It is not an easy tongue to use.'

Dumweavel disappeared in a puff of smoke before he could reply.


About the Author: Colin Louis lives in Forteviot, Scotland with his wife Irene who
is also an author. Colin started writing as a youngster and had various short
stories published in his local newspapers. He has also written and directed a
number of short plays and comedies. His extensive travels and studies in Mythology
and Celtic Folklore serves as the basis for Elidor and his trilogy of fantasy
novels. He has also written other books on Science Fiction and Mystery.
